So much has change since I got back.
Maybe for the better.
I'm no member of the government, so I have no say in this
"democracy".
Not sure if it's just me,
but I feel that Singapore is getting more competitive,
and this competitive environment we live in together is startin
g to distort our emotional capability to care for one another.
This is just my personal opinion,
nothing more. I may be wrong,
cause I'm a really REALLY, naive and gullible person.
For example, when I was walking back home today,
A guy shot a three-pointer at the basketball and missed.
The ball bounced off the hoop and away from the court.
I was in front of a women and her kid.
I turned around to see where the ball was heading,
I wanted to run for it but it was too far away,
giving up thinking that the lady will grab it and throw it back.
Instead she carried on walking,
knowing the ball was coming her way.
Just went passed her.
LOL.
Maybe I'm expecting too much,
can you imagine a 30+ year old mum,
catching a basketball and passing it back....
Well, whatever.
SOTA!!
Really really funny and friendly is all I can say.
Not sure if people are only friendly towards new meat.
But, I've mixed around with a couple of groups and cliques and, some don't seem very nice to each other.
Not me, but to each other.
Perhaps I'll see the true nature of the students in a few days time.
Hope it's not so bad.
But seriously, the people are sooo nice to me.
Two girls Charmaine and Alethea... unique name
gave me a CHICKEN! LIKE A CHICKEN WING, SINGULAR.
That totally pwns!
Anyways...
School ended at 3,
went to the book store to get the P.E attire,
cause their uniform is unsweatable.
So stuffy and hot!
Went to the MRT, met...
Amelia, Ang Qing and Valerie from SOTA.
Nice girls! =)
Went to Seng Kang to grab "Chemistry Matters" from Joel.
Cause for some reason Chemistry actually matters haha!
Nevermind... = =
Turned out that Jo was feeling under the weather and was at Seng Kang Polyclinic.
Dropped by a sat with him.
Discussed stuff that's happening in SOTA,
good stuff. =D
Went back to his place and got the book.
Discussed more about economics and world news.
How society in Singapore is changing due to the competitive atmosphe
re.
Finally went home.
I really need to start remembering names.
For some reason, everyone's face just go fuzzy in my mind.
And names jump everyone, not enough sleep maybe.
All in all, great second day.
Thanks God, and thanks to the people who are constantly encouraging
me.
You know who you are you bobos.
God bless and BYE!
Some things are changing.
But some things just never change.
